Bravo to Broomhill Primary who have raised nearly £700 towards learning and teaching in Malawi.
The P7s hosted a special french cafe in the school and profit from the school’s annual fairtrade week to raise the funds.
The school in the west end of the city was transformed into a Parisien delight at the end of September and pupils and staff treated to pain au chocolat and croissants.
Planning took place during the children’s french class and head teacher, Heather Neilson is very proud of her school’s achievements.
She said: "The school is working towards fairtrade status and the pupil council agreed that this was a good way to raise money for Malawi. The children embraced the challenge and on the day visitors could be forgiven for thinking they were in France!"
